My Mokka-e has been acting possessed recently! I charged it with a regular charger to get the last bit of juice, and after sitting all day, I noticed the doors wouldn't lock when I tried to unplug it. There are no interior lights, and you cannot even access the charging port. Like the entire system has died. Has anyone ever had a meltdown like this?

A trip to the dealer revealed a software fix (related to a recall) that resolved the exact issue I was having, a dead 12v battery. Thankfully, the update worked, and my car is back to normal. Fingers crossed for a hassle-free ride from now on!

Your battery may be dead that's why it didn't charge as it should. I suggest that you call your local dealership and let them service your car. This can go wrong in a lot of ways in the hands of someone inexperienced and may even cause more harm to your vehicle and your wallet. Let the professionals handle this and trust them.

Yup, I took it to the dealer and the issue was called "Battery charging system fault". Up until now, my car's been doing great since the update. Thanks for the tip!
