I’ve been running into an issue with the parking sensors on my Mokka EV and could use some advice. Whenever I go through a car wash, the sensors go into overdrive, triggering constant alerts and making a lot of noise. It’s not just a little distracting, it’s total chaos with all the sensors firing off !

I’ve looked through the manual and the settings, but I can’t seem to find an option to temporarily disable them. Is there a hidden button, menu option, or trick to turning them off temporarily? I know other cars have a quick “off” button for the sensors, but I haven’t found anything like that on the Mokka.

It’s not just the car wash where this happens. Parking in tight spaces with walls or barriers nearby sometimes triggers the same chaos. I really love the car otherwise, but this is one feature I’d like to control better.

Has anyone figured this out or found a workaround? Or is this just something we have to put up with?

For temporary control, some cars have a button with a "P" on it on the middle console that turns parking sensors on and off. You can confirm if your Mokka has something similar.
