If you're using the washers and you don't hear the pump making any noise, it's probably shot. The pump runs both the front and rear jets, so if it's quiet, that's a good sign it's failed.

You might want to get a second opinion from another mechanic. But this sounds like a BCM issue to me as well.

My neighbor's Opel has 175k miles and it's still running fine. He just makes sure to keep up with regular maintenance.

My Mokka's battery died while the key was in the ignition, and now I can't access the boot to jump-start it. The dog guard is blocking access from the inside. Does anyone know a way to manually open the boot or bypass the electric system to get to the battery?
